what we were about:
Graphic was a three piece band playing Rock with a strong Blues influence.
Graphic before their demise were Steve Green (Guitar), Andy Partridge (Bass) and Stuart Hartley (Drums and Percussion). Previous configurations of the band had seen Graham and Dave Courage pick up the sticks on drums
The band covered songs by artists including Hendrix, Cream, Robert Cray, Gary Moore, Jonny Lang, Kings of Leon and ZZ Top with occasionally numbers slipping in from John Mayall, Jeff Healey, Rory Gallagher plus many more. In addition to this the band included some it's own original material all compodsed by Steve Green. If you want to hear a sample of the music we played then go to the "Our Sound" section and listen to the tracks posted there.
Graphic performed as a band for several years and developed a regular circuit of gigs and reputation for quality. Based around the Northampton area the list of venues went south to Milton Keynes and Leighton Buzzard and to the north to Coventry and Leicester.
Since coming together there were those special 'one-off' events that you like to be associated with. In 2006 they performed at the Mike Dolbear Drum Forum annual get-together where they accompanied such illustrious drummers as Mike Dolbear, Neal Wilkinson and the late, great Paul Brook. In 2008 they played support to the Danny Bryant Red Eye Band and got an extremely favourable response.
